Home Visitor

What You'll Do

  • Work in the homes of families, meeting them where they are at

  • Develop positive relationships with families

  • Provide developmentally appropriate educational services to children in their home

  • Provide supportive services to families

  • Provide a structured home-visit that promotes a parent's ability to support their

       child's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development

  • Provide services to parents that support their role as parents 

  • Encourage parent involvement in the development of their children

  • Develop individual goals for and provide continuous assessment of progress

What You Can Expect

What We Expect From You

  • Valid Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)

  • High School diploma or equivalent with experience working with young children 

       and must be willing to obtain the CDA credential if you currently do not possess one

  • Preference given to applicants with a college degree in Early Childhood Education

  • Demonstrate flexibility in working with the diverse needs and abilities of families,

       children and co-workers

  • Be physically able to interact with young children

  • Valid Ohio driver's license

  • Proof of auto insurance

  • Completion of background checks

  • Be able to pass initial and regular drug screenings
